Here’s the banned Xbox 360 Ad (entitled Stand Off ) which is generally agreed to be the only clever ad Microsoft has come up with...which is likely why it’s been banned and doomed to circulation by internet...
Great ad btw...
For security reasons and fear of a legal lawsuit...this post has been removed by adrock2xander. The full version of the post is still available for readin if anyone is interested. Just email me.

With George Best's passin...footballers across Great Britain paid a minute of silence as a sign of respect for the Scumchester United hero...
In typical fashion...Leeds United fans booed George Best's death...to the chagrin of the English Football Association...which had requested that all fans remain silent...
My beloved club Leeds apologised rather embarassingly yesterday for the actions of its fans...
I have two questions...WHY DOES LEEDS HAVE TO APOLOGIST TO SCUM? AND WHO THE FUCK DOES GEORGE BEST THINK HE IS?
I dont see a problem with the boos and chantin...he may have been a scintillatin player who beats players like a drunk man he is...but George Best is a Scum player through and through...i will piss at him if i could...Football Association? Leeds United is bigger than the F.A...
Here's some history for the football newbs...the cities of Leeds and Manchester have been sworn rivals since the 16th-century War of the Roses...the antipathy between both cities (and football clubs) stretches across the Pennine mountains that form the backbone of industrial northern England...the city of Manchester represents the red rose county of Lancashire while the city of Leeds the white rose of Yorkshire whose cricket club would never field any player from outside the county...let alone the country...
The fierce and bitter rivalry intensified in the 60s when Bobby and Jack Charlton donned the jerseys of opposin sides...Leeds may no longer be in the Premier League...but ask any Leeds fans...if there is one game during the course of a season the fans of either club would want to see their side win...then this is it...
Well fuck that and fuck all Scums...you do not deserve any respect if you decide to support Scum...Scum is not even a football club these days...it's a fuckin conglomerate...the multi-million takeover of the club by American Malcolm Glazer is the beginnin of the end for you...he hasnt shown any shrewd business sense or interest in English football whatsoever...i'll be laughin if he mishandles the funds and the club is put into administration...let them suffer the nightmare and ignomity Leeds had to suffer 2 years ago...
Ive never failed to give a middle finger and an earful to anyone who reckons Scum is a better football club...statistics dont mean a thing...it's how you play football...Roy Keane was sacked? That's 5 years overdue...his tackle on Haaland should have warranted a life ban...you want passion? You cant beat the heart and pride of Leeds United...
Apologise to Scum and F.A? Suck my fuckin Asian weener and kiss my hairless ass crack first...

I'd taken a rare afternoon at home to slip an afternoon nap into my itinerary...micheLe had taken the family out to do some shoppin before they left Melbourne...i believe i'd done my part in the last two weeks...being the unofficial tour guide...the responsible road navigator...and the sensible boyfriend...
So while everyone's out along Sydney Road buyin their wares...i slipped into bed and popped in a Futurama Season 1 DVD...after 2 episodes of laughin at Bender's antics i dozed off and fell into one wacky dream...
Y'know how dreams are always said to be an extension of your darkest thoughts...researchers have made correlations to the state of your mind to the kind of dreams you made...im bringin this up coz in my dream...my spouse had just passed away...and my fat aunt or grandmother took the opportunity to profess her unrequited desire for me...not only did she want to marry me...she wants to have sex with me right there right now...i remember in the dream...i was so terrified i started fightin with her...and in my exasperation i'd used a Jim Beam bottle like a cudgel and killed her with a mighty blow to the side of her head...
This was followed by a massive cover-up operation...i was decidin whether to chop her up into pieces or carry her massive body out into the car and dump her into the sea...
At this point i was woken up by the sheer silliness of the dream...it was frightenin enough to wake me from my slumber...
And while i sat in the bed wonderin at the dream's remarkable similarities to Desperate Housewives...the bell rang...
The family's home...

Singapore's quite the celebrity these days...what with it gettin in all sorts of news lately...
Not like it needed more positive and rave reviews *cough* sarcasm *cough*...but first it was the Nguyen 'He's gona die in Singapore anyway' bloke...then Michelle Leslie 'Im lucky i got away scot free' fled to Singapore...the ridiculous World Toilet Organization hubris (which makes us wonder what Singapore's focus is on these days)...and now this...
A Singapore blogger is spared jail time after postin imflammatory remarks about Muslims...woohoo...
As how local Singaporeans would say it in their undecipherable English..."Singapore, Number One!"
*gags* Pass the peas please *gags*

Regular readers will recall my girlfriend micheLe has had her parents over for two weeks in Melbourne...
I'd looked upon their arrival with trepidation and much misunderstandin...y'know how it's like...your other half's parents visitin your humble abode...invadin your personal privacy and space...a day or two is fine...but 2 weeks is just murder...
Given though...her parents and i have met many times...i reckon they've got a pretty good impression of me...i took it upon myself to use their trip here to soothe and iron out any differences (if any) between ourselves...more importantly...they've gota know my true personality as it's no secret that livin in Singapore has stifled and constricted me...
Ive always been very loud and opinionated...and with the parents' comin i felt like it was an intrusion into my 'Thought Balloon'...if there's one person any prospective son-in-law fears meetin...it's the father...and in micheLe's Dad...i see my greatest adversary...
You see...we have fundamental differences in our beliefs...he walks and worships the ground the Singapore Government takes...while i spit and spite everythin the Singapore Government does...with these two ingredients we have a recipe for disaster...
Also...her parents are stoic Christians...and that means a clash in beliefs and personalities...im not sayin im unreligious...i believe in God...but im not "Hey fuck you God does exist and please stop sayin 'Oh My God' as it's rude" (yes some Christians are uptight like that)...the word 'fuck' is just another lingo i use to accentuate my thoughts...but ive had to control myself this week...
And what would they think bout my tattoo? So far...ive passed that with flyin colors...the parents are conservative and graduate from the School of Old...i was afraid they'd associate my tattoo with street gangs or drug peddlars...but hey it's no problemo so far...i believe if they've got a problem with me...any problem at all...they'd take it upon themselves to tell me in the face...
Perhaps my fears are unfounded...there's really no need to get all antsy bout the folks visitin...afterall...micheLe and i have been datin for almost a year-and-a-half now...what the parents really need to know and hear is that i genuinely care and love their daughter...afterall im datin their daughter...not them...
Ive been the unofficial Melbourne tour guide in the last week...takin the family out sightseein and eatin...i'd moaned and groaned initially...but hey after a couple of sessions it really isnt too bad...just cut down on the word 'fuck' and you're all set to go lol...
Take a chill pill adrock2xander...you've passed the test with flyin colors so far...just another week to go...

All the brouhaha bout Mr Nguyen dyin in prison...
Excuse me while i retort...while this is not another inflammatory post bout the sorry excuse of a country i grew up in...there is no denyin the amount of flak it has received for the way it's handlin the man's death...
To give an extent of how prevalent the Singapore government's totalitarian and morbid fascination of 'control over its citizens' is...im tellin you readers first hand that im restrictin my comments to general niceties so as not to upset the Singapore government...i risk gettin sued and arrested and refused entry into Singapore should i get too risque for the Government...and im not lyin bout this...free speech anyone? *chuckles*
My thoughts? Well...i agree that Singapore's official stand on its ethics of execution is right as the crime was committed within its shores...however...for a country that promotes itself as a modern and developed nation...Singapore's government is still stuck in a perpetual time warp...upholdin its medieval...barbaric and anachronistic justice system...
That...among one of many sellin points Singapore never ever tells tourists and foreigners alike...is one of the reasons why i have no intentions of returnin to Singapore anytime soon...i may be an Asian...and livin in Australia would ultimately relegate me to a '2nd Class Citizen' (though i'd give a middle finger to any Caucasians who tell me that)...i'd rather live in Australia and slug it out as a 'minority' than live in Singapore and be a 'majority' and lie to myself...
In Singapore...choice is not exercised...and for adrock2xander...if i dont exercise choice...there's no freedom...for all the retards who choose to remain in Singapore...i salute your stupidity...
And Van Nguyen is a fuckin smart kid is he? Singapore's religiously Communist laws are infamous across the globe...yet the mature mind he is decided to smuggle drugs through Singapore itself...it's like a hot chick disrobin for you without you askin...it couldnt be any easier...
There has been many reports and articles on the sheer barbarity of the practice...many would have read how Nguyen will die on December 2...the process and the minutes leadin up to his final moments...and yes...i agree with the journalists and reporters...
The only times i still witness death by hangin are movies in the Roman times or 1 AD and after...or somethin in the lines of the Salem Witch Trials...death by decapitation is just simply mind-blogglin...i sincerely feel for the mother...
Also...for all of Singapore's 'kill-all-or-be-all' policy...there has been no clear indication that the use of drugs will diminish around the region...killin the couriers does not nip the problem in the bud...in fact...it encourages the drug lords to find more innocent and desperate folks to act as their couriers...it's a vicious circle that never ends...
There're other ways to kill a person...even in the U.S...grand old mighty US of A...prisoners on the death penalty are killed by lethal injection...there's a sense of closure and the prisoner is killed with respect...there's no sudden 'snap of the neck' or the brutality that's akin to a butcher...yes that's right...Singapore is a butcher...a fuckin butcher...
Van Nguyen is to die of decapitation on December 2...and there's not rat's ass anyone could do anythin bout it...

Slinky @ QBH is barely 2 days old and im already famous...
What a night...i stumbled out of QBH at 5.30am havin burnt more calories than an intensive workout...Picotto's set was simply monstrous...it makes up for the terrible night in Singapore 2 years ago where Picotto played his cards wrong and decided to compete against van Buuren and played to an almost empty dance floor...too bad Marco V and Benjamin Bate werent up to scratch...the local DJs were heaps better in the upper levels...DJ Julez caught my eye...
More pictures of that night can be found in the Ellway galleries (click on Slinky)...and in a couple of days...in the Melbourne page of inthemix.com...
Im gunnin for Summerdayze on New Year's...and possibly Pacha on the very same night...who's up for it? :)

After 32 years of heartache and near misses...the Socceroos are finally through to Germany 2006...
With soccer languishin as the 4th most popular code of 'football' in Down Under (the other being Australia Rules, International Rules and Rugby), i dont get to brag bout soccer or watch a lot of soccer for that matter...Aussies are generally clueless bout soccer...what a sad sorry bunch i must add...the things they're missin out on...there's a reason why it's the WORLD game...
So for over 2 nailbitin hours i sat with my heart in my mouth...cheerin on the Socceroos...
Im pleased to see Harry Kewell rediscoverin his old Leeds form...Mark Schwarzer was the true hero with 2 penalty saves...Mark 'Dukes' Viduka holdin out the frontline like his life depended on it...highly underrated Vince Grella dominatin midfield play and the back trio of Lucas Neill, Tony Popovic and Tony Vidmar doin a superb job shacklin the Uruguayans...kudos to Guus Hiddink too...what a masterstroke and genius he is...he got his tactics spot on...
Urugwoi? Uruquay? Where the fuck is that? Someone pass me the map please...is it it China?Im now officially an Australian fan...fuck Italy, England, Spain or some lame traditional powerhouses...it's go kangaroos, gold & green and Guus Hiddink...
Fair dinkum mate...

Back in March i'd written my thoughts on who Spiderman's chief villain should be in the upcomin Spiderman 3 movie...
All bets are off...the months-long debate is over...for the chief villain of Spiderman 3 is finally revealed...a still from the movie which is currently in pre-production...
Jesus...they even got the castin right...Thomas Hayden Church looks exactly like Flint Marko a.k.a Sandman from the comics! Crikeys! The fights will be awesome...how is Spidey gona defeat a man made of sand...cmon Peter...ya gona need more than them wisecracks now...

I was only tryin to take a picture of beautiful Alex...shame on you Siãn and Chris! :)
Someone call the firefighters!
Fire! Fire! It's so heartwarmin to see so many people celebrate someone's 21st. I remember my 21st. It was cold. I was alone. Helpless. Good times.
Speech
So while people gave their speeches...the crowd gaped in awe. I wanted to speak too, but i thought how funny it'd be if an Asian spoke English. So i controlled myself.
Im buggered
Hey even the most battle-hardened soldier needs a recharge...
Thank you for your invite Chris, but i wont be there for Christmas. It's my first Christmas away from my family and i'd like to cook up a Christmas feast at home with some friends. There's always next year. And i'll definitely be back...coz i need to get those rare wines!
So ive been puttin off the pictures in Echuca last week...too busy y'know...people lead lives...billz to pay...mouths to feed...not everything's bout my trip up north...
Haha kiddin...do i sound like that big a jerk? Well im just a reallly good procrastinator...
First things first...again...i'd like to thank the Noske-Turner family for havin micheLe and i (among 50-odd other folks) over at their sprawlin home for the weekend...the cookin and the plannin...the invites and the mess...how did we make it to Sunday mornin i dont know...
Secondly...my deepest apologies to Marg...ive heard how upset you were when i took a picture of ya neighbour's beautiful flowers and went harpin on about it...i meant to take some shots of the house on Sunday mornin...but i completely forgot! Forgive me...i promise you...there'll always be another time :)
Thirdly...Chris...you were a champ...from pickin us up...and ferryin us around like we were some A-list actors...the conversations...to sendin us off...you were all too nice...are you runnin for President anytime soon? I'll vote for you!
Forthly...Emily...first time it was a blessin...second time it's a curse...ive never said goodbye to you...why are you never home on Sunday when i leave? You may think im rude now...
Fifthly...hey Jess...your relatives are weird...i mean...good weird...a conversation with Lester started from blogs to farmin to futures to money to kids and back to futures again...if this is the kinda conversations you furry friends have all the time...im in.. :)
Now that the obligatories are done...let's move on...

Another shot where we werent swattin flies off our faces...haha... of course...i wasnt wearin a helmet again coz my head was too big...dont get mad Marg :)
Oh My Port!
We went shoppin for wine that could only be found in Echuca. I love port...best pre-meal drink...
And they like the funnies
One stop solution to all your illnesses...port with a dose of humor
Massive Brunch
The eatery claimed no one could finish this breakfast in one sittin. They lied.
Giant lolly shop
I went about takin shots of scenes i didnt have the opportunity to take the previous time i was here. micheLe got excited at the huge lolly shop.
Cowboy?
Bought a straw hat. I didnt look out of place in the dusty heat.
They're still there
Paddlesteamers havnt changed since the mid 1850s...they're still solid and dependable...
Campin Ground
Headin home...we found the house a hotbed of noise. Guests were fillin in. Some decided to camp out in the huge family backyard. Flies and mosquitos at night? Pass the peas please...
Seekin refuge from the heat
Kids were splashin in the pool. It got kinda overcrowded for my likin as the afternoon wore on...

Just becoz i have Asian features doesnt mean i hang out with international students or eat flied lice...

Singapore may be famous for the wrong reasons...but one of the world's Top 10 dance club sits right smack in the tiny anti-free speech regime...you cant mention Pacha or the myriad of awesome dance clubs in Ibiza and not mention Zouk in the same breath...
I may have bought a one way ticket to Melbourne and have no intention of returnin to the regime in Asia....but some of my best memories rest comfortably in the walls of Zouk...nights out to Zouk are always special...so many long nights on the dancefloor with awesome DJs and their monster sets...if i return to Singapore it's only really for Zouk...where people really know their music...and no drugs are needed...the rest of the world could take a clue...
This year's annual outdoor Zouk party Zoukout is in its 5th reincarnation...i couldnt believe my eyes as i read the stellar lineup...fuckin GOLD...
Im salivatin and havin multiple orgasms just readin their names...
Armin van Buuren killed me in 2003...and again in 2004...trance hath no fury like van Buuren...
Nick Warren's sets these days tend not to impress me too much...some of his better sets and mixes are littered across his Global Underground albums...however i'd like to check him out...it's been a few years since ive heard him mix live...
Peter Kruder of Kruder and Dorfmeister fame? I was pleasantly surprised to see his name...i was only exposed to Peter Kruder's works in Melbourne...oh boy he has some nasty tricks up his sleeves...i think the word to describe K&D's tracks is trip-hop...incredibly funky and head shakin-worthy...think Beastie Boys second album Paul's Boutique with the dance grooves...a real pity i'll be missin him spin...
Martin Solveig...i dont really know his stuff...come to think of it...i havnt given myself the pleasure of listenin to him...perhaps one day?
Lil Louie Vega and DJ Jazzy Jeff...LOL do these two blokes even need an introduction? Old school house and hip hop...i may not be a huge fan of either genre...but hey they're fuckin legends...
Chus and Ceballos...never heard them live...but hey they're tribal house enthusiasts...and that's my kinda language...
Stephane Pompougnac (lol how do you pronounce his surname anyway?) of the famed Hotel Costes cd series is another surprise...i dont own any of the Costes series...but i know it's chillout-by-the-beach and funky grooves kinda stuff...i wonder how that'll fit into all the genres...but hey...it's all good...
That said...i'll miss the event...i do hope i get to hear them live in Melbourne soon...

Changed my razor blade before i showered...
I cut myself while shavin...
My balls fuckin hurt now...
Kudos to Michael in England, Adrian Miles of RMIT and the 2nd year Media students...
Bout a year ago i felt the urge to switch from Blogger.com to another host...with bloggin takin over the Internet by storm i'd felt the need to switch to somethin more professional...Blogger.com was and still is the numero uno undisputed king in blog-friendly hosts...millions of blog newbies ventured out to Blogger.com and although many interestin blogs were started...many many more sparked off insipid and sleep-worthy impressions of a high school rendition of Cats...my impression of Blogger went downhill from there...
Blogger.com provided all my bloggin needs...it made bloggin so simple...but a few things threatened my loyalty...i browsed the Internet to check if anyone experienced the same problems as i did...and i found a notable claim...taken off Jay Dwivedi's management consultant site iproceed...
- Frequent problems publishing the blog.
- Inability to publish the complete blog after making changes in the template (to add a new link, for example).
- Could not make Technorati tags work using the Blogger template code (initially I thought that it was a problem at their end but when the wonderful people at Technorati analyzed my blog, they found several problems with the Blogger template).
- Blogger would not allow publishing on (”some,” according to them, and it happened to be one of the domains that I supervise) externally hosted blogs. An email to Blogger Team did not get us a response.
Several weeks before my term ended in college...we students had the opportunity to be graced by Australian vblog (or videobloggin) expert and RMIT lecturer Adrian Miles...i'd devoured many interestin tidbits he had published...his site gave me a glimpse into the next era of bloggin...it truly is very excitin...
Also through Adrian...i came into contact with his students in 2nd year Media...these students...as part of the course curriculum...had to start a blog from scratch from 1st year usin the excellent Wordpress program...my trip into an alternative form of hostin started from there...
Then just last night...my blog mate Michael helped me out with some bloggin issues...he too has just switched to Wordpress...
I was sold...
I'll be spendin the next few days sourcin out the right HTML codes and template to suit my new layout...of course...I'll finish up on my trip to Echuca before the Outrageous. Beautiful. Misfit. v2. is launched...
Watch this space...
Thursday, November 10
On the way to Echuca last Friday evenin...micheLe and i paid homage to sunset in the country...more than the thousands of horses and sheep we sped past...it was also strangely peculiar in the way a camera produces the most fascinatin of results...
Beautiful sunset...
Streak...
Seein double?
Another beautiful sunset...
Wednesday, November 9
Bloggin as a lucrative side business? Dont bet on it...
However...here's a chance for all Aussie bloggers to win some moolah...
Best blogger wins $10,000...
Do note...if you have a pretty face...and are gettin 50 comments for every stupid menopausal Tupperware post you make...it doesnt make your blog popular...it doesnt mean you're a good writer....it doesnt mean people care bout your life...it just means there're 50 horny men who wana fuck the brains out of you...
And that extends to all pretty faces around the world too...
Them soddin British kids must be fed on too much fish 'n' chips...
36% of them kids reckon chips were made of anythin but potato...
Shockin ads of blood and bones anyway...the British Heart Foundation had better educated the young 'uns first...for all we know them kids cant differentiate a cow from a sheep...

Profitting BIG TIME through eBay: Currently On Hold
Im back in Melbourne...
Also...bad news was waitin for me upon arrival...regular readers would know of my eBay business or noticed the countdown that appears at the top of every post...
A shipment from China i'd paid for not only failed to arrive...the company also seems to have mysteriously disappeared...repeated phonecalls to China did not yield any results...
Im fuckin angry and fuckin broke...
Friday, November 4
Profitting BIG TIME through eBay: 60 days left.
Im off to Echuca again this weekend...dont miss me furry friends...
North Victoria here i come!
Thursday, November 3
Profitting BIG TIME through eBay: 61 days left.
Way back in July...in the aftermath of the London bombings...I'd written a thoughtful post on how safe Melbourne is from a potential terrorist attack...
4 months on...i dont know what to think...turn on Australian radio or the tele these days...or even flip through the major papers...and you're destined to chance upon reports on Melbourne's security issues...what with the city hostin the Commonwealth Games next year...these are bleak times for the Australian government...
I had the
It's easily the hottest Spring day (it was 31 Degrees...crikeys!) and the bomb scare could not have come at a better time...it was Melbourne Cup day...and the entire city is gripped with Makybe Diva fever...well i knew i wasnt gettin caught up with it...horse-racin and gamblin just aint my cuppa tea...and dressin up for the event? LOL mate i dress up all day everyday...it's Melbourne Cup day everyday for adrock2xander...
Anyway...i was out with some friends at beautiful Williamstown for lunch...one of those quaint roadside restaurants with cutesy umbrellas that barely provided ample shade on a hot November day...we were halfway through our seafood meal when we spied cops drawin up police tapes around the area...cordonin off the surroundin restaurants...restrictin the movements of people who were more intent on a fun time than causin public trouble...
A cop was stationed just behind our table...turnin people away and advicin them to make a detour...before long...i heard the cop tellin curious passers-by that there was a suspicious package by the side of the road...and they were just takin safety measures...
"A bomb...blogworthy!" i thought...without any regard for my safety (what a complete dumbfuck i am)...
Several minutes later a huge crowd had gathered all around the surroundin park and road...business was affected and people were gettin agitated...some had their cars parked along the road or had their family on the other side of the cordoned area...i wasnt too pleased either as people were standin too close to my battered shrimp...
A large truck with the words POLICE emblazoned across its body roared by us...and stopped on the other side of the road...all of a sudden...the cops decided to evacuate everyone...people sittin along the road were ordered to move inside the restaurants to finish their meals...or pay and leave...in other words...somethin's up...
We left our half-eaten meal...much to our dismay...that's my battered shrimp on the left of the picture...meh...
Cops were evacuatin the curious onlookers and hungry folks...suffice to say noone was happy...
I love cops...they've the best job in the world...i mean...how else could you stop and divert traffic and not get insulted in return?
The grumblin crowd moved to the other side of the safety zone...hopin to catch a glimpse of the action...
And action they got...a robot came amblin along...one of those remote controlled ones with an arm-grappler that we're all familar with...i could barely make it out...
That's where the suspicious package is...between two cars...imagine how anxious the owners were...hehe...
An extendable arm picked up the package...
The heat got to some of the folks...they took refuge under a large tree...it was really hot...after 6 months of freezin cold...the heat was a welcome change...but it got to me too...notice how beautiful the day was...blue skies and puffy clouds...
All the brouhaha...and nothin interestin resulted...as quickly as the police arrived 2 hours before...they silently disappeared...perhaps to celebrate Makybe Diva's 3rd consecutive win...or to check the contents of the suspicious package...or to collect their holiday overtime salary...God knows...
I have an opinion on who planted the suspicious package...this lady was seen walkin past our table at least twice...once before our meal was served...and once when the police arrived...while we were being evacuated she was seen millin in the area...lookin rather uncomfortable...
No doubt bout it...the dog is the mastermind...
