I just thought this was rather interestin...
There's a ridiculous named street and hill in Melbourne called Batman...for weeks i had the fuckin hardest laugh whenever i heard that...for fuck sakes...BATMAN?
Just yesterday a bloke called Jim Batman appeared on TV...he was being interviewed for some silly local news...
Turns out...the founder of Melbourne is a jolly good fella who goes by the name of John Batman...
It gets funnier...
In Brisbane there's the street that goes by the name of Garfield...
Yes Garfield Street...
